BLACK FREEDOM FUND
There’s no way around it, In order to build and sustain a movement we need funding that doesn’t get in the way of the mission. we can not wait for Philanthropy, Foundations, or Funders to give us the resources that are NECESSARY to do that freedom work. we believe the best funding is self funding.
For decades, people have been allowed to talk about a self funded movement while not actually putting anything into one.
So we’re here to test this theory out.
We wanted to see if we laid out a thorough plan on how every dollar would be spent would the people fund it. If this plan showed how each campaign, program and institution we would built impact Black people’s lives around the world would our people invest in it. And if we raised millions collectively and distributed to local Chapters and Members to begin to change the world at the community level would the people step up to that challenge and fund their own revolution. Below we lay out such a vision.

Phase One: Project Unity
Strategize
This section will be used for us as an organization to come together to plot and plan Local, National, & International Campaigns that we will implement to advance a Black Liberation Movement
Organize
We will use this section for our local organizing work. Each Chapter/Branch will receive an maximum of 5 thousand dollars for Phase One of our Community Engagement Strategy
Politicize
We will use this section to educate the masses through Print, Digital, and Virtual means as ways to raise the Collective Consciousness of our people Globally
Infrastructure
This section will be used for us as an organization to acquire the internal mechanisms that we will always need to ensure we will have the ability to build, adapt, and evolve when we need to obtain our long term goal of Black Liberation
