I Am My Sister

We want to break the barriers of societies picture of the “angry black woman”. We are bringing sisters from different walks of life to engage in healthy conversation. Through our engagements we intend to build a sisterhood that can be a model for a great thriving community. I Am My Sister is about the empowerment of Black women. We believe through the elevation of the Black woman there will be a complete elevation of our people.

  1. Bring Black women together

  2. Open ourselves up so that we can heal and bond with one another

  3. Create a dialogue that will give us a collective vision for our people

  4. Put our words into ACTION to get involved in the community

  5. Hold ourselves and our sisters accountable for the freedom of our people

  6. Expand globally

  7. Love one another
