We Engage- We Elevate - We Empower.jpg

Everyday our members around the world take on the task of building a movement whose only objective is freedom. This is what that Black Liberation Work looks like:

Example
Our Oragnization is Revolutionary

We're here to get black people free. Period! We're not another 501c3, non profit, or black organization who talks about actions they'll never do. We believe that far too often, leaders and organizations have either been thought leaders with no actions or action leaders with no clear vision for change beyond civil disobedience. We believe that the first thinkers should also be the first doers as well as those who are involved in direct actions should be organized with a clear vison for change in mind. We stress the belief that actions should not be carried out without principle nor should words be spoken without actions organized by the one(s) who are the introducers of these the thoughts.

Our Organizers are...

Trained

These won't be yo mama and daddy’s Civil Rights Movement trainings. Our trainings are geared towards black people who live in the 21st century and who want freedom in their lifetime. Our trainers all practice what they preach. So wether it’s direct actions in Ferguson, how to organize black working class communities, or how to heal our black souls we've got it covered.

Politicized

We politicize our members and community through formal and informal sessions both online and in person. These sessions will bring out the knowledge we already posses inside ourselves about the root causes to our systemic problems and the solutions that will solve them. We will also affirm your solutions by empowering members and chapters with the knowledge, skills, and resources to implement them for the betterment of the movement and most importantly the people and communities we serve.

Our Members are..

Intersectional

Our members are intersectional and that means different types of black bodies coming together for the liberation of all black bodies. We’re intentional in our leadership being a mixture of womanist, the formally incarcerated, college students and graduates, and black immigrants organizing along side traditional leadership bodies to put a different lens on the analyzation process so that we can come up with an innovative organizing model that includes everyone, but doesn’t lose our true focus.

Intergenerational
